Welcome to the Falcon Robotics website. Falcon Robotics is the robotics team of St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey. Our team constructs a task completeing robot each year to compete against the best of the best in competitions organized by FIRST. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization designed to encourage students to advance their talents in academics, science, and engineering while also growing socially. Falcon Robotics is registered as FIRST Team 1626. Feel free to browse our website and read what we are about.

The Robotics Team is having a spring bulb sale. If you plan on doing fall planting, please support us by ordering bulbs. Order forms can be acquired from Team Members, Mothers Club, Fathers Club, School Main office, or are available for download on this site. To navigate to the download page, please visit our Bulb Sale page.
Forums We now have a forum for team discussion. All members will have pre-made accounts. Your username is your first initial, last name, and year of graduation. For example, member John Smith's username would be JSmith10.
Your password when first visiting will be "falcons", and this can be changed to something you will remember easily. If having trouble, message the Admin, ALasko09 through the PM system on the forum.

Announcements ~ *updated frequently*
FLL Meeting There will be a meeting on Wednesday November 12, 2008 for all parents and members for discussion about the FLL regional being held at St. Joes on November 16. All members and parents that are working that day should attend this meeting for important information about events.
Classes The 2008 classes to learn about the tools, safety, and other components that the team uses, should commence on Monday October 27, 2008 after school around 2:30pm in Room 111 or 115. All new members for 2008-2009 season are required to attend. Returning members are not required to attend but is recommended. Please listen to the school announcements at break and 7th period to confirm the date(s) and times of these classes.
Kickoff The 2009 FIRST Kickoff is on January 3, 2009. All team members are required to attend. For new members this requirement is stressed. There are workshops that new members can attend. It is not required but recommended, so that you learn about kit components and other skills needed for competitions.

If you have not yet handed in your forms and registration fee, please get it in ASAP to Mr. Milligan in room 115. Thanks
